FAQ
"Why did you build this site?"
I grew up watching X-Men: The Animated Series. That was my first exposure to the world of X-Men. I'm a romantic, and was instantly drawn to the show's OTP, Scott and Jean. Soon, I started getting into the comics. But by the time I did, a writer called Grant Morrison wrote the New X-Men series and destroyed Scott/Jean right before my very eyes. I was angry and upset, and but determined to find old issues of comics that wrote them as a happy couple. When I started to create scottandjean.com, I had learnt that many Scott/Jean fans out there had been discouraged by the lack of response on Marvel's part to revive the couple. I was even more determined to help fans out there find solace in the good old days. There is still love for this couple, and more people should open their eyes to why Scott and Jean are meant to be.

"How often is this site updated?"
Scottandjean.com is updated every weekend, unless something pops up for me in real life that requires my attention. If I do skip a week or two, I will make sure that the following week gets multiple updates (depending on the number I have missed). SJ.com is also especially updated on the 8th of January, celebrating the wedding anniversary of the couple, and the 28th of July which is the birthdate of the site.

"Is there a way to receive notification about the updates?"
1) Check the home page (The Boathouse) to see which issue/episode is updated in which section,
2) Email me to be put on the mailing list for weekly updates,
3) Or you can enable the RSS feed for SJ.com.

"What section is currently being updated?"
The section currently being updated is "X-Men: First Class". I'm putting up series 3, and 4/Uncanny X-Men: First Class, which will be through Oct 2010. After that I'm considering filling in the "What If" and "Miniseries" sections to wrap up the rest of the year.

"What section update can I look forward to next?"
Time to tackle another big section, either "X-Factor" or "Ultimate X-Men".

"Which sections of the site are complete?"
"Original 5", "X-Men Mangaverse", "1602", "The Animated Series", "X-Men: Evolution", "X-Men Movies" and "Miscellaneous" have complete listings of comic issues/episodes/movies/other stuff.

"So, where do you get all your comics from? I can't find them in my comic book store!"
I bet some of you are wondering about that. Rather than going through the tedious task of searching through boxes of back issues in comic book stores (although you'll never know what you can find at great prices!), I highly recommend Lonestar Comics. They have a fantastic database of old issues.

"Does this mean there isn't any comic worth reading for Scott/Jean fans right now?"
Unfortunately, Marvel is proving this fact to be true. But we must not lose hope! I don't actively follow the current comics right now, so do email me if you know of any Scott/Jean-centric comics out there!
